Using your own tissue ONLY. No foreign implant is placed. 

Patients who desire a breast lift or reduction and who would like more upper pole volume of the breast, but do not want a foreign body implants (such as silicone or saline implants) are candidates for an auto augmentation. Tissue can be repositioned from the lower or lateral part of the breast that might be normally thrown away. This tissue is detached from its fibrous connections, but still attached to blood supply. The tissue is then sutured to a higher position on the chest wall to give more upper pole fullness. The fullness of the upper pole depends on the patient’s breast volume; it does not work well for persons with a smaller amount of breast tissue.
